Adam wakes up surrounded by his husbands, somehow even more exhausted than he was when he'd fallen asleep.

He stretches. He's a little sore, but the main thing is that long lasting ache deep in his bones, something that begins from being both Medicare eligible and a former wrestler.

"You're thinking really loudly," grumbles Mox. He nuzzles up into Adam's chest, grey beard tickling Adam's skin. "Stop it."

"Stop thinking?" Adam says, gently trailing his finger down Mox's back. "That feels impossible."

"Ever the anxious millennial cowboy," Kenny mutters. As always, he's curled up on his side facing away from Adam, preferring his own blanket to sharing with the perpetual cuddlers Mox and Adam. Adam reaches out and rests a hand on Kenny's shoulder, fingers grazing the layers upon layers of scars from the many shoulder surgeries he's had over the years. "You feeling okay this morning?"

Adam laughs, low. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm good. You've been rougher."

"Can you two be quieter?" Mox grumbles, turning his face back into the pillow. "I have a sex hangover."

"That's still not a thing," Kenny says.

"It is, and it's both of your faults," Mox harrumphs. He grabs the blanket off of Adam and pulls it over himself.

"Hey!"

"Share with Kenny, whiner."
